1. As soon as possible after 6 a.m. ET on June 20, activate your new Oldnavy card.

2. Your Navyist Rewards Credit Card from Synchrony will no longer be valid at that point, so please burn it.

3. To set up and manage your account online, schedule recurring payments, and sign up for paperless statements, visit oldnavy.barclaysus.com.

4. Send updated account information to any businesses that automatically charge your account on a regular basis, such as insurance companies, mobile phone companies, and utilities.

You should also update any digital wallets and online merchant accounts that save your credit card information for quick checkout.

How can I obtain my chip card's PIN?

Even if your account was started with a 4-digit PIN, we nevertheless advise you to alter it to something that is hard to guess yet easy to remember.

• You will be required to set a PIN if you activate your new card online. To generate a new PIN, you won't need to know your old one.

• You can set up a PIN or ask to have your allocated PIN delivered to you when you phone us to activate your new card.Please be aware that you will need to sign for your first transaction at a chip-card terminal with a cashier if you set a new PIN. Your PIN will be enabled upon the completion of your first chip transaction, enabling you to use your card at self-service terminals that need one.

Additionally, you may use your PIN to get cash advances from ATMs both domestically and internationally. The Annual Percentage Rate (APR) for your cash advance will be charged. Keep in mind that your account has just one PIN. You have the option to disclose your PIN to authorized users as the principal cardholder.
